The Sticky Protein Hiding In Almost Every Man Over 50

After 25 years as a cardiologist, I see the same pattern almost every week. Most men think they have two separate problems. They have one.

I've spent most of my career treating men over 50. The same conversation happens almost every day in my office.

A man comes in worried about his blood pressure. Or he quietly mentions things aren't working in the bedroom. He's embarrassed. He thinks they are two separate problems.

They aren't. They never were.

Most men I see have already tried the obvious things. They cut salt. They started walking. They took the pills their doctor handed them. Some are on three or four medications by 60.

And still, the numbers don't come down. The intimacy doesn't come back. They feel like their body is slowly failing them. They blame age. They blame stress. They blame themselves.

The high blood pressure and the bedroom issues are not two problems. They are one problem showing up in two places.

The issue is in your arteries. And almost no one is talking about the real cause.

For decades, we blamed cholesterol

We still do, in most clinics. But more and more research is pointing to something else. Something most doctors never test for.

It's called fibrin.

Fibrin is a sticky protein your body makes to repair damaged blood vessels. In small amounts, it's helpful. But as you age, your body stops breaking it down efficiently. It builds up. It hardens. It traps cholesterol and forms plaque.

When fibrin clogs the arteries to your heart, your blood pressure climbs. When it clogs the smaller arteries feeding the rest of your body, performance in the bedroom is one of the first things to suffer. The penis depends on healthy blood flow. So does every other organ.

This is why men with high blood pressure and ED so often have both at the same time. They share the same cause.

Why the pills aren't enough

Here is the part that frustrates me most. Statins lower cholesterol, but they do not break down fibrin. Blood pressure pills relax your vessels, but they do not clear what's blocking them. The pills manage the symptoms. The arteries keep getting worse underneath.

That's why so many of my patients feel like they're losing ground even when their lab numbers look better on paper.

The pills manage the symptoms. The arteries keep getting worse underneath.

What changed my thinking

About 8 years ago, I started looking into something that's been used in Japan for over a thousand years. It comes from a fermented soybean dish called natto.

In 1980, a researcher named Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi discovered that natto contains an enzyme that dissolves fibrin. He named it nattokinase. It works the same way the enzymes in your own body used to, when you were younger. Only stronger. About 6 times stronger.

For a while, I was cautious. Most supplements are underdosed. The bottles you find at the pharmacy usually contain 2,000 FU of nattokinase. That's a maintenance amount. The peer-reviewed studies that actually showed plaque reduction used much higher doses.

The trial that changed my mind followed 1,000 people for a full year. They took 10,800 FU of nattokinase daily. The results were hard to ignore. A 36.5 percent reduction in arterial plaque. Better blood flow. Lower blood pressure. Improvements in symptoms men in my office had been chasing for years.

The brand I recommend

Purevance Nattokinase

It's the only one I've found that delivers the full 10,800 FU dose used in the actual research, along with CoQ10, aged garlic, and a few other ingredients that support the arterial wall while the fibrin is being broken down.

I'm not telling you it's a miracle. I'm telling you it addresses the actual cause, instead of just managing the symptom.

What I've seen over 90 days

The men I've watched stick with it for 90 days usually tell me the same things. Their cuff readings come down. Their hands and feet feel warmer. Their energy returns.

And yes, their intimacy starts coming back, often before anything else.

So you have two options

Option 1

You can keep doing what you've been doing. Adding pills for each new symptom and hoping the arteries underneath sort themselves out.

Option 2

Or you can start treating the actual cause. Clear the fibrin. Let the arteries open up. See what your body does when it stops fighting itself.

A note before you look

Purevance is only sold through their official website. Some of my patients have tried cheaper bottles on Amazon and through retail. Most of those products contain a fraction of the dose and no quality testing. If you're going to try this, get the real one.

You only get one set of arteries. Take care of them properly, and a lot of other things in your life start to take care of themselves.
